MEDUUSA

Meduusa is a wall-mounted sculpture by Finnish artist Teemu Salonen. Standing 89 cm tall, the work draws its form from the fluid, otherworldly anatomy of a jellyfish — translucent fan-like lobes in pale mint and white cascade from a central body, while articulated pink-toned tentacles extend outward with organic precision.

Crafted from biopolymer PLA with a polyester resin coating and hand-applied paint, the piece achieves a luminous, almost bioluminescent quality. The surface shifts between matte and gloss, catching light in a way that animates the sculpture across different viewing conditions.

Designed for wall installation, Meduusa ships with a hanging hook ready for display — equally at home in a private residence or a curated gallery setting.
