About Our Shipping
Limited Time Gallery is a trading name of Suomen Muotoilutoimisto, a registered sole trader (toiminimi) based in Finland. Limited Time Gallery acts as a commercial agent on behalf of artists and makers. Works are sold on consignment and may ship directly from the artist's studio or workshop. Suomen Muotoilutoimisto is the seller of record for all transactions conducted through this website.
Processing Times
Each order is handled individually. Once payment is confirmed, we coordinate dispatch with the artist or maker. Processing times vary depending on the work and its location, but we aim to confirm dispatch details within 3–5 business days of a confirmed order. You will be notified by email once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Methods
Works are shipped using professional, tracked, and insured freight services appropriate to the size, value, and fragility of the artwork. Typical carriers include DHL Express and equivalent international freight services.
Standard postal services are generally not used for original artworks or fragile works.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout where possible. For large, fragile, or high-value works, shipping is arranged on a case-by-case basis and quoted separately. In such cases, the product page will state:
"Shipping is quoted separately based on destination, size and handling requirements."
No order will be dispatched without your confirmation of the shipping quote.
International Shipping & Customs
Limited Time Gallery ships internationally. Unless otherwise stated, any import duties, customs fees, taxes, brokerage fees, and related charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.
For shipments outside the European Union, customs declarations will accurately reflect the value and nature of the artwork. We are unable to declare works at reduced values.
Certain works made from natural materials, including wood, may be subject to export restrictions, CITES regulations, phytosanitary requirements, or import restrictions in the destination country. Buyers are responsible for verifying any applicable import requirements before placing an order. Limited Time Gallery will provide available documentation regarding materials upon request.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times depend on the destination and the shipping service used. As works often ship directly from artists located in different countries, delivery times may vary. We will provide tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Packaging
All works are professionally packed to a standard appropriate to the fragility and value of the artwork. Original packaging materials are used where available. For fragile or oversized works, custom crating or specialist packing may be arranged.
Risk & Insurance
Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights. All shipments are insured for the declared value of the artwork during transit.
In the event of transit damage, please refer to our Claims & Returns Policy and report any damage within 48 hours of delivery.
