Chinese Restaurant 33 is a unique sculptural table lamp in which a cluster of hand-finished petals rises from a cylindrical base as if caught mid-bloom. Lacquered in pale pink and white with teal-edged tips, the petals carry light from within — illuminated, they glow with a warm, organic luminosity that dissolves the boundary between object and atmosphere.

The work belongs to Teemu Salonen's ongoing Chinese Restaurant series — a meditation on ornament, memory, and the charged aesthetics of interior space. Each piece is unique and will never be repeated.

Chinese Restaurant 33 is designed to function as both sculpture and light source — a presence that shifts with the hour, casting warm shadows at dusk and holding a cool stillness in daylight.
